THE UNIQUE ADVANTAGES OF OUR INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS
Tony Fernandes, Air Asia group CEO, recently visited Bangalore Airport (BLR), one of the partners for our mobile and smart app vision. Fernandes tweeted his appraisals of BLR’s innovative approach to provide cost savings, customer service and efficiency to passengers and airlines. Taking a photo with our mobile unit that serves Air Asia across 9 airports in India and others across the globe, Fernandes not only thanked the BLR innovative team but also tweeted his enthusiasm for the solution and shared his hope that a similar approach would be taken at more airports. Air Asia at BLR handled over 50% of daily passengers through our mobile units, contributing to higher efficiency and dramatic cost savings.

MEETING THE CHALLENGE OF THE NEW TSA DIRECTIVE FOR AIRLINES FLYING TO THE US
“ICTS Systems’ next-generation CPM product has taken a further step in its development and ensures our clients are compliant with recent TSA Directives. In close consultation with the PQCT, we have not only updated the software aspect of CPM, but the way our operations and clients can process their passengers.
Sorting Point, a mobile CPM counter at the front of the check-in line, provides a quick decision-making tool housed in lightweight mobile kiosks, that allows operators to allocate passengers to dedicated routes through the check-in. Based on passenger data supplied by our clients & Pre Check and SSSS indicators from the TSA, the results are filtered through an enhanced algorithm, and each passenger’s status is clearly displayed to the operator.
Sorting Point pilots have been running with ICTS teams in Madrid and Zurich, with further pilots starting in Frankfurt and Rome. These trials quickly confirmed that Sorting Point reduces the amount of equipment required, the time a passenger spends with our teams and provides a next-level customer service”. It also allows carriers to meet the requirements of the TSA directive more efficiently, as well as dramatically reduce their costs.
