AIR ASIA SMARTAPP AT DMK AIRPORT, BANGKOK, THAILAND
Our innovative cloud-based Smartapp arrived in Thailand and is now successfully running at Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok, one of the busiest hubs of Air Asia. Our Smartapp is fully integrated with TravelDoc and is the first cloud-based check-in application that offers airlines and airports an alternative to the traditional and expensive CUSS and CUTE. Easy to use, our Smartapp is based on a 3-step check-in process, with a full check-in taking an average of 15 seconds. The SmartApp cuts operation costs and offers an alternative to the current costly traditional methods. With the hard work of our dedicated teams, our application will dramatically improve customer satisfaction and processing time for Air Asia. Particularly in DMK, the Smartapp is also connected with weighing scales to enable a smooth process for the addition of baggage weight onto the system.
AIR ASIA PHILIPPINES JOIN THE SMARTAPP REVOLUTION
The AirAsia team is providing exceptional customer service with our Smartapp Mobile Check-in Kiosks at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) in the Philippines. Located at Air Asia’s international check-in area, our innovative Smartapp kiosks are now in full operation mode. A full check-in (including a printed boarding pass and bag tag) can be completed within 20 seconds thus allowing Air Asia to provide a quick and simple checkin process to their passengers. Thank you to our Smartapp, passengers spend 40% less time checking in for their flight and more time browsing around the duty-free shops! AirAsia Philippines will soon add Smartapp to Puerto Princesa International Airport (PPS), Francisco Bangoy International Airport (DVO) and Kalibo International Airport (KLO) as well.

AIGLE AZUR TO JOIN THE TRAVELDOC FAMILY
We are delighted to announce that Aigle Azur will soon join the TravelDoc family, having chosen TravelDoc as its automated document check software hosted on Amadeus. We are proud that another carrier finds TravelDoc beneficial, attractive and better suited to meet the growing challenges of automation in passenger processes. Aigle Azur will join Air Caraibes, French Bee, EVA Air, Norwegian, IcelandAir, Air France, KLM, Air Europa, China Airlines, Garuda and Kenya Airways in using TravelDoc on CM for their automated document check, and thereby gaining better customer service and greater savings on their operating costs.
NEW FEATURE: PASSBOARD DATA VALIDATION
At ICTS Europe Systems we pride ourselves on developing products that solve current issues in the aviation industry. Ever since APIS/APP was introduced, airlines have had difficulties in ensuring high data quality. With more passengers using the self-service bag drop solutions or checking in online, as it is quicker and easier than using the check-in counters or kiosks at airports where there is no Smartapp, more passengers arrive at the departure gate without their documentation having been verified. Governments are starting to penalise incorrect API data. According to marked analysis and our clients, up to 40% of all APIS submissions contain data errors, which is an extremely high potential for fines.

INCREASE EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS AT THE SCREENING CHECKPOINT WITH INNEREYE
InnerEye’sinnovative solution combines human and artificial intelligence in one hybrid platform, allowing real-time human-machine interface for fast and accurate visual recognition tasks. InnerEye technology bypasses the need to record overt responses from the user (like button presses or speaking), reading the visual recognition signals directly from the user’s brain and combining it, together with the visual data, into a united artificial intelligence system. This combination overcomes a bottleneck of human performance, as well as capitalises on the merging of human neural processing and deep artificial neural networks. What this simply means is that the same operator can now process more images faster in a networked setting. At their trial, human experts can process up to three images per second. While it is good to process each image faster, the detection accuracy needs to be high. From operational and training experience, we know that every screener has different capabilities and there are blind spots in their analytical capabilities. A proof of concept (POC) was set up between Changi Airport Group, InnerEye and ICTS Europe to establish if image analysis could be faster and more accurate if we could present the same image to a few operators at the same time who have different capabilities. The combined analytical abilities will give better detection and at the rate the brain processed the image, efficiency could still be achieved. Indeed, the results from the POC were promising and Changi is working with ICTS Europe and InnerEye to refine this technology with a view to deploying it in time.
TRAVELDOC USER GROUP MEETING, BANGKOK
With the number of users on our platform continuously growing and after the huge success of the TravelDoc User Group Meeting in Europe last year we decided to host our next meeting in Bangkok, Thailand in order to get closer to our growing operations in Asia. At this event, which took place in July, we showcased our growing operations worldwide, discussed the recent developments and the issues or challenges our clients might face on our platform. At this time, we focused on our users in the Asia region and their specific needs and suggestions. During the two-day meeting there was a mixture of presentations, demonstrations of our recent technological solutions, discussions and a fun evening out. On the second day we visited the Air Asia check-in area at Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) whereby our clients were able to see SmartApp in operation. Thank you to everyone who joined us, we welcome our clients to join next year’s TravelDoc User Group Meeting!

ICTS EUROPE SYSTEMS AT SABRE TECHNOLOGY EXCHANGE, LAS VEGAS
In June, we participated at the Sabre Technology Exchange event in Las Vegas, Nevada, as one of the developers on Sabre’s Red App, where TravelDoc app managers from the aviation and travel industry visited our stand to find out how TravelDoc, the most advanced fully automated document checking tool, benefits travel agencies on the Sabre Red App platform. The app provides a definite go/ no go indication along with clear instructions as to the documents needed, and permits changes to the PNR. Travel agents can complete bookings quickly with the most accurate and simplest reply, guaranteeing their clients a hassle-free experience.
