SmartApp is now expanding towards Africa, where FAAN (Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria) together with the service operators of Arlington Securitas have chosen SmartApp as a comprehensive solution to help manage the crowded and quickly growing traffic across all the airports in Nigeria. FAAN has announced the deployment of the SmartApp kiosks in four of its international airports: Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (ABV), Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS), Port Harcourt International Airport (PHC) and Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (KAN).

GMR DELHI HAS INSTALLED AN ADDITIONAL 25 EXPRESS KIOSKS AT ALL THREE TERMINALS AND THE METRO STATION TO ASSIST THE GROWING PASSENGER TRAFFIC AT THE CAPITAL CITY

In India, as part of the country’s advanced security checks, each passenger is required to present their boarding pass before they enter the terminal. In response to this need, ICTS Europe Systems with its partner, Maxworth has designed a specific kiosk that enables passengers to quickly and easily check-in and print their boarding passes outside the airport, even from their hotels. The great success of the first 6 express kiosks at T3 in Delhi Airport and the general acceptance of the service across other Indian airports, prompted GMR Delhi to add additional 25 express kiosks to ease the passengers’ journey at all three terminals and at the metro station. The kiosks have proved to be a popular solution with the number of processed passengers doubling between the months of August and September 2019.

SWISSPORT UK AND QATAR AIRWAYS DEPLOYS TRAVELDOC STANDALONE AT LGW AIRPORT, LONDON

In early August, ICTS partnered with Swissport UK to provide a unique solution to combat the growing numbers of inadmissible/fines received by Qatar Airways, whose operation offers great connectivity from LGW. ICTS and Swissport offered the TravelDoc Standalone solution installed on one of our slim check-in kiosks to assist Qatar Airways with the verification of the passenger’s travel documents in preparation for travel at Gatwick Airport (LGW).

The TravelDoc Standalone is a portable document scanner and checker that aids airline staff when checking the immigration requirements of travellers. Passengers’ travel documents are scanned, and the information in the document is then matched with their booking information. The passenger can then be checked in the TravelDoc system for any entry requirements.

NOKSCOOT JOINS THE TRAVELDOC FAMILY

We are delighted to announce that NokScoot has joined the TravelDoc family, to which its parent airline, Scoot has already belonged. The Thai carrier, whose main hub is in DMK operates long-haul flights mainly to China, but also has destinations in India, Japan and Taiwan. We are proud that another carrier finds TravelDoc beneficial, attractive and better suited to meet the growing challenges of automation in passenger processes. TravelDoc is the most advanced ADC software that not only dramatically improves operation with its fast and efficient travel document evaluation system, but also affords huge savings in fine costs, thanks to its unlimited automated document check applied to all passengers.

TRAVELDOC IS NOW AVAILABLE ON ALTÉA’S GROUND HANDLER PLATFORM

Ground handlers are working in an incredibly competitive industry. Just like airlines, they must provide exceptional passenger experience, with smooth, efficient check-in to ensure flights leave on schedule and passenger satisfaction is maintained. When it comes to document check, the GHA either relays on the airline’s systems or they conduct the checks manually.

TravelDoc, ICTS Europe Systems’ automated document check software is probably the most advanced automated system in the market with over 750,000,000 passengers checks annually for over 50 carriers. It is also a popular feature on Amadeus platform for airlines. As a result of the valuable partnership between Amadeus and ICTS, TravelDoc has been integrated into the Altéa GH platform.

The first two GHAs to use TravelDoc on Altéa GH are Laufer Aviation GHI and Aerohandling, who are both significant players in the ground handling industry in Israel and mainly support the growing operations of Tel Aviv Airport. The airport has also chosen TravelDoc as its preferred automated document check software and is promoting the services to all airlines flying out of TLV.

TRAVELDOC IS NOW FULLY INTEGRATED WITH NAVITAIRE GONOW

More than 60 airlines are relying on Navitaire’s DCS systems to support their operations and 12 of them have deployed TravelDoc directly as their automated document check. While the majority of the integration were done directly with the airlines through their websites and mobile app, TravelDoc is now also available on Navitaire’s new platform – GO NOW.

The growing Spanish carrier Vueling, already a valued client of TravelDoc, is the first airline to fully integrate on the new platform. We invite all our current TravelDoc users, who are upgrading to GoNow and those airlines who still operate without the benefits of TravelDoc, to follow in the footsteps of Vueling.
